
Marilee Talkington

Marilee Talkington is an award-winning actor and advocate who founded Access Acting Academy, the first actor studio tailored for blind and low vision performers. She holds an M.F.A. in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater and received the Carol Channing Trouper Award for Excellence and Dedication in the Craft upon graduation. Talkington has been a disability advocate for nearly two decades, focusing on the blind and low vision community since 2018. Her work includes innovative approaches to actor training that challenge ableist norms. She appears in The Home (2025).
