Marian Álvarez is a Spanish actress who won the Concha de Plata and the Goya Award for Best Actress for her role in La herida (2016). She studied dramatic arts at the Juan Carlos Corazza School of Acting and made her film debut in Incautos (2003), directed by Miguel Bardem. Álvarez gained prominence for her portrayal of Lola Sanz in the television series Hospital central. Her television credits also include roles in El grupo, 7 vidas, and Sopa boba, as well as miniseries such as La duquesa and La fuga. She appeared in La unidad (2020).
