Margaret Whitton was an American actress who portrayed Rachel Phelps, the owner of a baseball team, in Major League (1989) and its sequel Major League II. She gained recognition for her role as Michael J. Fox's aunt-by-marriage in The Secret of My Success (1987). Whitton's filmography includes appearances in The Best of Times (1986) and The Man Without a Face (1993). She began her career on stage in 1973 and made her Broadway debut in Steaming (1982). After a seven-year period in film, she returned to theater, performing in And the Apple Doesn't Fall... (1995) and the award-winning musical Marlene (1999). Whitton also featured in Nine 1/2 Weeks (1986).
