Marcello Thedford is an American actor who portrayed Kelvin "Buffalo" James in the ESPN series Playmakers. He began his career in improvisational theater in New York City, studying at the Third World Theater at Black Drama Productions. Thedford's film debut was in Dangerous Minds, and he has appeared in notable television series such as NYPD Blue, ER, and Monk. He also featured in Employee of the Month and had a guest role in CW's The Game as Clay Smith, a professional football player. Thedford is a certified power lifter with a California state record.
