Mandy Patinkin is an American actor and singer who made his film debut in the 1983 musical epic Yentl. He starred in notable productions such as the original Broadway cast of Evita (1979) and Sunday in the Park with George (1984), earning a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. Patinkin gained fame for his television roles, including Dr. Jeffrey Geiger in Chicago Hope (1994–2000) and Saul Berenson in Homeland (2011–2020), winning an Emmy Award for his performance in Chicago Hope.
