Malin Åkerman is a Swedish actress who played Silk Spectre II in Watchmen (2009). She began her career with small roles in productions like Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) and The Utopian Society (2003). Åkerman gained prominence with her performances in romantic comedies such as The Heartbreak Kid (2007) and Couples Retreat (2009). She starred in the Adult Swim comedy series Childrens Hospital from 2010 to 2016 and had a lead role in the ABC series Trophy Wife (2013–2014).
