Mahesh Manjrekar is an Indian director, actor, writer, and producer who played a role in the film Kaante (2002). He has directed films such as Vaastav: The Reality (1999), Astitva (2000), and Viruddh... Family Comes First (2005). As an actor, he has appeared in various productions, including his own, and performed as the gangster Javed in Slumdog Millionaire (2008). Manjrekar also portrayed 'Shivaji Maharaj' in Me Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy and featured in the series CID as Harpist Dongara. He has received a National Film Award and two Star Screen Awards.
