Mahesh Babu is an Indian actor and producer who made his leading debut in Rajakumarudu (1999). He primarily works in Telugu cinema and has gained prominence for his performances in action dramas such as Okkadu (2003), Pokiri (2006), and Dookudu (2011), the latter being the first Telugu film to gross over $1 million in the USA. His notable works include Srimanthudu (2015), Maharshi (2019), and Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020). Mahesh has received multiple accolades, including nine Nandi Awards and five Filmfare Awards South. He is also a philanthropist, founding the Mahesh Babu Foundation to support underprivileged children. Mahesh produced the biopic Major (2022) through his company, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment.
