Madeline Brewer is an American actress who gained prominence for her role as Janine Lindo in the Hulu series The Handmaid's Tale (2017–2025). She has also appeared in notable series such as Orange Is the New Black (2013) and Hemlock Grove (2014–2015). In addition to her television work, Brewer starred in the film Separation (2021). Her performance in The Handmaid's Tale earned her a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards in 2021. Brewer will portray Brontë in the Netflix series You (2025).
