Mackenyu is a Japanese actor who portrayed Roronoa Zoro in the live-action adaptation of One Piece (2023). He began his acting career with a lead role in Take a Chance (2015) and gained recognition in Japan for his performance as Eiji Tomari in Kamen Rider Drive: Surprise Future (2015). His notable film credits include Chihayafuru Part I & II (2016), where he played a significant role, and he appeared in Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018). Mackenyu also starred as Scar in Fullmetal Alchemist: The Revenge of Scar (2022). His martial arts background allows him to perform his own stunts.
