Lynn Redgrave was an English actress who made her theatrical debut in 1962. She gained significant recognition for her roles in films such as Tom Jones (1963) and Georgy Girl (1966), the latter earning her a New York Film Critics Award along with nominations for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Redgrave made her Broadway debut in 1967 and was active in stage productions in both New York and London's West End. She also starred alongside her sister Vanessa in Three Sisters and took on the title role in a television adaptation of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? in 1991. Redgrave returned to film in the late 1990s with notable performances in Shine (1996) and Gods and Monsters (1998), receiving another Academy Award nomination for her work. Her film appearances include Peter Pan (2003).
