Luisa Huertas is a Salvadoran and Mexican actress who played Rosita in the children's series Sesame Street. She trained at the Escuela de Arte Teatral del INBA and the Centro Universitario de Teatro CUT-UNAM, two prestigious institutions in Mexico. Huertas has appeared in numerous popular telenovelas, including Dulce Desafío (1988-1989), Carrusel (1989), and Al filo de la muerte (1991). In addition to her television work, she has acted in films such as The Mask of Zorro (1998) and Dos mujeres y una Vaca (2015). A founding member of the Mexican Academy of Theatrical Art, she has received multiple awards, including the Ariel for her performance in Mentiras Piadosas.
