Lucy Boynton is a British actress who made her professional debut as the young Beatrix Potter in Miss Potter (2006). She gained recognition for her role as Margaret Dashwood in the BBC's Sense and Sensibility (2008) and portrayed the enigmatic Raphina in Sing Street (2016). Boynton played Mary Austin, Freddie Mercury's partner, in the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), which earned the cast a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at the 25th Screen Actors Guild Awards. Other notable works include her performances in Murder on the Orient Express (2017) and The Pale Blue Eye (2022). She also appeared as Astrid Sloan in the Netflix series The Politician (2019–2020).
