Lubna Azabal is a Belgian actress who made her film debut in the short film J'adore le cinéma (1997). She has appeared in notable films such as Paradise Now (2005), for which she gained significant recognition, and Incendies (2010), where her performance earned her the Black Pearl Award for Best Actress at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival. Azabal has also featured in Ridley Scott's Body of Lies (2008) and the adaptation of Shakespeare's Coriolanus (2011). Fluent in multiple languages, she performs in both French and Arabic films. She received the Genie Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role at the 31st Genie Awards.
