L.Q. Jones is an American character actor and film director who made his film debut in Battle Cry (1955). He appeared in the films of Sam Peckinpah, including Ride the High Country (1962), The Wild Bunch (1969), and Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid (1973). Jones had a recurring role in the western series Cheyenne (1955) and portrayed the bounty hunter "T. C." in The Wild Bunch. His later work includes a role in The Mask of Zorro (1998). Jones adopted his stage name from his character in Battle Cry, which he used for all his acting roles.
