Lou Hancock is a Texas artist and actress who gained a substantial cult following for her role as Henrietta in Evil Dead 2 (1987). She began her career on Broadway in a production of Kempy and later joined the USO during World War II, touring the globe. In addition to her stage work, she performed in numerous off-Broadway productions and summer stock plays at Casa Manana Theater in Fort Worth, where she also served as an associate producer. Hancock founded the Hip Pocket Theater in Fort Worth and returned to academia later in life, earning a Master's Degree in Theater from Texas Christian University. She had a recurring role as Mabel Shoop on Walker, Texas Ranger. Hancock passed away due to multiple myeloma.
