Lori Tan Chinn is an American actress and comedian who made her debut on Broadway in Lovely Ladies, Kind Gentlemen (1970). She has appeared in a variety of television series, including a recurring role in Orange Is the New Black and as Awkwafina's grandmother in a Comedy Central series from 2020 to 2023. Chinn has also been a prominent member of the Katherine Dunham Company and performed African dance with Syvilla Fort. Her film credits include Turning Red (2022) and she will voice a character in Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024).
