Lorelei Linklater is an American actress who made her film debut in Waking Life (2001). She gained significant recognition for her role as Samantha in Boyhood (2014), a project that spanned twelve years and earned multiple awards, including the Silver Bear for Best Director at the Berlinale. Linklater has also appeared in Bomb City (2017), Anywhere With You (2018), and After the Night with Valerie (2019). Although born in Mexico, she is a US citizen and was raised in Texas. She is the daughter of director Richard Linklater.
