Loene Carmen

Loene Carmen is an Australian actress who portrayed Freya Olson in The Year My Voice Broke (1987). Discovered at a pizza bar in Kings Cross at the age of sixteen, she received an Australian Film Institute Best Actress nomination for her performance in that film. Carmen has also appeared in Red Dog (2011). In addition to her acting career, she is a singer-songwriter and producer, and is the daughter of musician Peter Head. She has a daughter, Holiday Sidewinder, and has been married to actor Aden Young since 2014, with whom she has two children.
