Lisa Ann Walter is an American actress and comedian who played Chessy in The Parent Trap (1998). She gained recognition for her role as Melissa Schemmenti on the ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary (2021–present), which earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Walter has also created and produced the reality series Dance Your Ass Off and appeared as a judge on The Next Best Thing: Who Is the Greatest Celebrity Impersonator?. Her film credits include Bruce Almighty (2003) and Shall We Dance. She created and starred in the sitcom Life's Work (1996–1997).
