Lily Gladstone is the first Native American to win the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama. Raised on the Blackfeet Reservation, she has Piegan Blackfeet, Nez Perce, and European ancestry. Gladstone made her film debut in Jimmy P: Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian (2012) and has worked with director Kelly Reichardt on Certain Women (2016) and First Cow (2019). Her portrayal of Mollie Kyle in Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon (2023) garnered her critical acclaim and multiple accolades, including an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. She received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her role in the miniseries Under the Bridge (2024).
