Lijo Jose Pellissery is an Indian filmmaker. He made his directorial debut with Nayakan in 2010, but gained significant acclaim with Angamaly Diaries in 2017, which featured a groundbreaking 11-minute single-take climax. His film Jallikattu (2019) was India's official entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the 2020 Academy Awards.
