Lidia Alfonsi is an Italian actress who received the French critics' award for best Italian television actress in 1970. She gained prominence during the golden age of television dramas in the 1960s with notable works such as La Pisana, Mastro Don Gesualdo, and Il segreto di Luca. Alfonsi appeared in several films, including Hercules (1958), Morgan the Pirate (1960), and The Trojan Horse (1961), often starring alongside Steve Reeves. She also featured in Mario Bava's horror film Black Sabbath (1963) with Boris Karloff. Alfonsi was named a Grand Officer of the Italian Republic. She retired from screen acting after her role in Life Is Beautiful (1997).
