Lexa Doig is a Canadian actress who starred as the title character in the science fiction series Andromeda (2000-2005). She gained recognition for her role as Rowan in the horror film Jason X (2002), which is part of the Friday the 13th franchise. Doig began her career in entertainment by co-hosting the Canadian game show Video & Arcade Top 10 from 1991 to 2006. She has also appeared in theatrical productions such as Romeo and Juliet and Arsenic and Old Lace. Doig developed an interest in acting at a young age, inspired by a performance of Porgy and Bess. She has worked in various modeling projects and transitioned to acting, establishing herself in both film and television.
