Leonard Rossiter was an English actor who portrayed Rupert Rigsby in the television series Rising Damp (1974–78). He played Reginald Iolanthe Perrin in The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin (1976–79). Rossiter had a significant presence in theatre and appeared in a series of Cinzano commercials alongside Joan Collins from 1978 to 1983. His film credits include a role in 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).
