Lee Remick was an American actress who made her film debut in A Face in the Crowd (1957). She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her role in Days of Wine and Roses (1962) and earned a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the Broadway play Wait Until Dark. Other significant films in her career include Anatomy of a Murder (1959), Wild River (1960), The Omen (1976), and The Europeans (1979). Remick won Golden Globe Awards for The Blue Knight (1973) and the miniseries Jennie: Lady Randolph Churchill (1974), for which she also received a BAFTA TV Award. She appeared in The Competition (1980).
