Lee Jung-jae is a South Korean actor who received the Best Actor award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for his role in City of the Rising Sun (1999). He began his career in modeling before transitioning to acting, debuting in The Young Man (1994) and gaining fame through the drama Sandglass (1995). His notable filmography includes The Housemaid (2010), The Thieves (2012), and the Along with the Gods series (2017-2018), all of which achieved significant box-office success in South Korea. Lee's recent work includes Deliver Us from Evil (2020), which became one of the top hits of the year. He has also received a Popularity Award at the Grand Bell Awards.
