Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs is an American actor who played Freddie "Boom Boom" Washington in the television series Welcome Back, Kotter (1975). He began his acting career in 1969 and gained prominence with roles in films such as Claudine (1974) and Cooley High (1975). His notable television appearances include Roots (1977) and The Jacksons: An American Dream (1992). In addition to his acting work, Hilton-Jacobs has also been involved in singing and starred in commercials, including one for The United Negro College Fund. He appeared in Escape from Death Block 13 (2021).
