Lauren Graham is an American actress and author who portrayed Lorelai Gilmore in the series Gilmore Girls. She gained further recognition for her role as Sarah Braverman in the NBC drama Parenthood, which aired from 2010 to 2015. Graham's film credits include Bad Santa (2003), Sweet November (2001), and Evan Almighty (2007). In addition to her acting career, she published her first novel, Someday, Someday, Maybe, in 2013, and a memoir titled Talking as Fast as I Can in 2016. She reprised her role in the Gilmore Girls Netflix revival miniseries, A Year in the Life. Graham also appeared in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009).
