Laura Dern is an American actress who won an Academy Award for her role in Marriage Story (2019). She began her acting career in the 1980s and gained significant attention for her performances in films such as Blue Velvet (1986) and Wild at Heart (1990). Dern achieved international fame as Ellie Sattler in Jurassic Park (1993), a character she reprised in its sequels, Jurassic Park III (2001) and Jurassic World Dominion (2022).
