Larenz Tate is an American actor who made his small-screen debut in an episode of The New Twilight Zone (1985). He gained recognition for his role as O-Dog in the film Menace II Society (1993). Tate's career includes notable performances in films such as Love Jones (1997), Crash (2004), and Ray (2004), where he played music legend Quincy Jones. He also appeared in the television series Family Matters as Willie Fuffner and had a role in the comedy Girls Trip (2017). In addition to his film work, Tate voiced the main character in the video game 187 Ride or Die. He is married to Tomasina 'Geneva' Parrott and has two sons.
