Lam Suet is a Chinese actor who has collaborated with director Johnnie To, appearing in over 80 films since 1996. He began his career in the mid-1980s, initially working in various roles on movie sets before transitioning to acting. Notable films in his career include The God of Cookery (1996), Kung Fu Hustle (2004), and PTU (2003), where he won the Golden Bauhinia Award for Best Supporting Actor. He portrayed the taxi driver Yip in Breaking News (2004). His work in The Mission (2000) earned him nominations for Best Supporting Actor at both the Hong Kong Film Awards and the Golden Horse Awards.
