Lakshmy Ramakrishnan is an Indian actress and director who made her debut in the Malayalam film Chakkara Muthu (2006). She primarily appears in supporting roles within Tamil cinema, with notable performances in films such as Yuddham Sei (2011), where she portrayed a mother seeking revenge for her daughter's death. Her first Tamil film was Pirivom Santhippom (2008), and she later directed the feature film Aarohanam (2012), which won a Special Jury award at the 7th Vijay Awards. In addition to her film work, she has been active in television, appearing in the serial Aval and hosting the reality show Solvathellam Unmai. Lakshmy Ramakrishnan's second directorial project, Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe, addressed the petrol crisis in Tamil Nadu.
