Kristy Swanson is an American actress who played Buffy Summers in the film Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992). She has appeared in a variety of films, including Hot Shots! (1991), The Program (1993), and The Chase (1994). Swanson's notable roles also include Catherine Dollanganger in Flowers in the Attic and appearances in Pretty in Pink (1986) and Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). In addition to her work in film, she starred in Big Daddy (1999) and Just Another Dream (2022).
