Kris Kristofferson is an American country singer, songwriter, and actor who earned a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his performance in A Star Is Born (1976). He was a member of the country music supergroup The Highwaymen, alongside notable artists such as Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. Kristofferson's acting credits include roles in Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid (1973), Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974), and the Blade film trilogy, which features Blade II (2002) and Blade: Trinity (2004). He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2004.
