Kobe Bryant is an American professional basketball player who won an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film for his work on Dear Basketball (2018). Over his 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers, he secured five NBA championships and was an 18-time All-Star. He also earned the NBA's Most Valuable Player award in 2008 and is recognized as one of the greatest players in basketball history, ranking fourth in all-time scoring for both regular and postseason play. Bryant appeared in Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom (2026). He was the first guard to play at least 20 seasons in the NBA.
