Kishori Ballal was an Indian actress who made her film debut in Ivalentha Hendthi in 1960. Over her career, which lasted more than 15 years, she appeared in 72 films, primarily in Kannada cinema, and also worked in Hindi films. She played the role of the caretaker of Shah Rukh Khan in Swades (2004) and had a notable television presence as the matriarch in the series Amruthavarshini. She was a prominent figure in regional cinema until her passing in 2020.
