Kimberly Williams-Paisley is an American actress and director who gained prominence for her role in the comedy film Father of the Bride (1991). She also starred in its sequel, Father of the Bride Part II (1995), and co-starred in the ABC sitcom According to Jim. Her television credits include guest appearances on shows such as Tales From The Crypt, George Lopez Show, and Less Than Perfect. In addition to her film work, she has appeared in made-for-TV movies like Safe House and The Christmas Shoes. Williams-Paisley is married to country singer Brad Paisley and has two sons. She directed and wrote the short film Shade, in which she also played the character Laura Parker.
