Kim Whalen is an actress who began her career in theatre, performing in her hometown of Dallas, Texas. She gained attention for her role as Ava Winthrop in the television series Being Mary Jane (2013) and played Wellsie in the Team StarKid production of The Black Dagger Brotherhood (2025). Whalen is also a classically trained singer, having starred as Luisa in the 50th Anniversary of The Fantasticks at The Theatre Center in New York City. Her film debut was in The Tree of Life (2011), which is set in a small Texas town. She appeared in Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2011).
