Kim Soo-hyun is a South Korean actor who gained prominence with his role as King Lee Hwon in the television drama Moon Embracing the Sun (2012). He made his acting debut in 2007 with the sitcom Kimchi Cheese Smile and quickly rose to fame through notable performances in Dream High (2011) and the blockbuster film The Thieves (2012). His accolades include four Baeksang Arts Awards and recognition as Gallup Korea's Television Actor of the Year in 2014. Kim became a leading figure in the Hallyu wave with hits like My Love from the Star (2013) and The Producers (2015). He returned to acting after military service with the drama It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020).
