Kiawentiio is an Indigenous actress who played the role of Ka'kwet in the series "Anne with an E" (2019). She gained significant recognition for her performance in the film "Beans" (2020), where she portrayed Tekahentahkhwa, a young girl during the Oka crisis. This role earned her the Vancouver Film Critics Circle One to Watch award and the film won Best Canadian Film at the Canadian Screen Awards. In addition to her acting career, she has appeared in the sitcom "Rutherford Falls" (2021) and lent her voice to the animated series "What If...?". Kiawentiio will feature as Kantara in the live-action adaptation of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" (2024).
