Kenneth Mars was an American actor who voiced King Triton in Disney's The Little Mermaid (1989) and its sequel. He appeared in two notable Mel Brooks films: as Franz Liebkind in The Producers (1967) and as Inspector Kemp in Young Frankenstein (1974). His filmography includes roles in What's Up Doc? (1972) and Radio Days (1987), as well as a memorable part as Otto Mannkusser in the television series Malcolm in the Middle. Mars lent his voice to several animated characters, including Littlefoot's grandfather in The Land Before Time series, and Professor Screweyes in We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story (1993). He also worked on the Kingdom Hearts video game series.
