Kelsey Grammer is an American actor who played Dr. Frasier Crane in the sitcom Cheers (1984–1993) and its spin-off Frasier (1993–2004, 2023–2024). He made his professional acting debut in the 1981 Broadway revival of Macbeth and has since performed in various notable productions, including Sweeney Todd and My Fair Lady. In film, he appeared in Toy Story 2 (1999), 15 Minutes (2001), and The Expendables 3 (2014). Additionally, he portrayed Dr. Hank McCoy / Beast in the X-Men series, including X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). Grammer has received six Emmy Awards and a Tony Award for Best Musical as a producer of The Color Purple (2016).
