Kelly Clarkson is an American singer, songwriter, actress, author, and television personality who gained fame by winning the first season of American Idol in 2002. Her debut single, "A Moment Like This," became the best-selling single of 2002 in the U.S., and her first album, Thankful (2003), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Clarkson's second album, Breakaway (2004), sold over 12 million copies worldwide and earned her two Grammy Awards. She has released multiple successful albums, including All I Ever Wanted (2009) and Stronger (2011), the latter making her the first artist to win the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album twice. Clarkson has also acted in Trolls World Tour (2020) and has hosted The Kelly Clarkson Show since 2019.
