Keenen Ivory Wayans is an American actor, comedian, and filmmaker who created and hosted the influential sketch comedy series In Living Color from 1990 to 1994. He began his film career with Hollywood Shuffle in 1987, which he co-wrote, and has since produced, directed, or written numerous films featuring his family members. Wayans directed Scary Movie in 2000, which became the highest-grossing film directed by an African American until 2005. He also hosted The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show from 1997 to 1998 and served as a judge on Last Comic Standing in 2014. His work has significantly impacted the comedy genre, especially through his collaborations with his siblings.
