Keala Settle is an American actress and singer who originated the role of Norma Valverde in the Broadway musical Hands on a Hardbody (2013). She was part of the original cast of Waitress, where she played the character Becky in 2016. Settle gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Lettie Lutz, a bearded lady, in the musical film The Greatest Showman (2017). The song "This Is Me," which she prominently performed, won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song and received an Academy Award nomination in the same category.
