Kaviyoor Ponnamma is an Indian actress who played the title role in Kudumbini (1963). She began her career in theatre, gaining recognition for her performances in stage dramas before transitioning to cinema. Over the years, she appeared in numerous Malayalam films and television serials, becoming a prominent figure in the industry. Ponnamma was awarded the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress four times and was often referred to as the 'mother to all actors' for her frequent portrayal of maternal roles. She acted as the mother of notable actors, including Mohanlal, and was featured in Mamangam (2019).
