Kaushik Banerjee

Kaushik Banerjee is a Bengali actor who made his debut in the romantic film Priyatama (1980). He gained significant attention for his portrayal of Devendra in Bishabriksha (1984), a role that led to him being frequently cast in similar provocative characters in subsequent films. His collaborations with notable directors include Paromitar Ek Din (2000) with Aparna Sen and Shubho Mahurat (2003) with Rituparno Ghosh. Banerjee has appeared in several films such as Chitrangada (2012), Khaad (2014), and Love Express (2016). He is married to actress Laboni Sarkar and they have a son, Susnato Banerjee.
