Katie Holmes is an American actress and director who gained prominence for her role as Joey Potter in the television series Dawson's Creek, which aired from 1998 to 2003. She made her film debut in Ang Lee's The Ice Storm and has appeared in notable films such as Phone Booth (2003), The Giver, and Logan Lucky (2017). Holmes also portrayed Jacqueline Kennedy in the mini-series The Kennedys and made her Broadway debut in a revival of All My Sons. After her marriage to Tom Cruise ended in 2012, she continued her acting career with roles in Brahms: The Boy II (2020) and the series Ray Donovan. In 2016, she directed her first feature film, All We Had.
