Katie Garfield is a singer-songwriter and actress who played Catherine Turner in 'The Birth of a Nation' (2016). She has spent three years in Los Angeles writing, recording, and performing music, releasing her debut single 'Put Me Back On My Throne' in February 2015. Garfield has appeared in guest roles on popular television series including 'Nashville', 'Sleepy Hollow', 'The Vampire Diaries', and 'Under the Dome'. Her film credits include 'Project Almanac' (2015). 'The Birth of a Nation' won both the Grand Jury and Audience Awards at Sundance 2016, and achieved the largest sale in the festival's history to Fox Searchlight.
